At MAQX Labs Ltd. (“MAQX”), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data — which in most cases we do not collect, store, or process — in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant laws.
MAQX is a stateless, memory-less system. By design, it does not store user data, engage in behavioral tracking, or build identity profiles.
Core Privacy Commitments
No data storage: MAQX does not store names, emails, IP addresses, or location data.
No profiling: MAQX does not use cookies, fingerprinting, or analytics to track behavior.
No account required: You can use MAQX without registering or disclosing personal information.
Wallets: Wallets are either imported by the user or generated locally on your device. Private keys never leave your device.
Offline-first: MAQX can run without continuous internet access, with optional sync later.
Stateless design: Once actions are completed, no logs or records are retained.
Use of Third-Party Services
While MAQX does not collect or store personal data in normal usage, certain AML/CTF obligations may require licensed partners (e.g., fiat gateway providers) — and in rare high-risk cases, MAQX Labs itself — to process limited customer information (e.g., identity verification, source-of-funds). Such data is handled exclusively for regulatory compliance and retained only as required by law.

Payment processing: providers such as Transak, Ramp, or equivalent licensed partners.
Wallets: MetaMask, WalletConnect, or other compatible providers.
Data Minimization and Security
MAQX is built on the principle of data minimization:
We do not request or process data that is not required.
We avoid central logs or cloud storage.
All cryptographic signing occurs on-device.
If optional crash/error reporting is enabled, submissions are fully anonymized and never linked to wallets or identity.
Your Rights Under GDPR
Even though we do not store personal data, we respect your GDPR rights. If you believe data has been inadvertently processed via a third-party integration, you may:
Access any personal data held by a third party.
Request correction or deletion.
Restrict or object to processing.
File a complaint with a Data Protection Authority.

Children’s Privacy
MAQX is not intended for users under 16 years of age unless explicitly authorized by a guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this Policy to comply with law or adapt to service changes. The date at the top reflects the last revision. Significant changes will be announced via the app or website.
GDPR Disclaimer
In accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR, we declare:
MAQX is GDPR-aligned by architecture. No personally identifiable data is collected or stored by default.
